Jersey City Freedom & Fireworks Festival has music, a carnival, food trucks, and fireworks in front of the Statue of Liberty at Liberty State Park.

The White House Visitor Center is also open on the 4th of July from 9 am to 3 pm. Families can stop in for games, crafts, and other activities. As the evening approaches, there are many concerts you can plan to attend. The US Army Concert Band performs starting at 6pm at the Washington Monument and the National Symphony Orchestra plays a special concert at the Capitol Building at 8 pm.
